First, I am a mom to an amazing daughter. Together, we parent two cats and a rabbit who we are quite big fans of. I am a former pro golfer turned full-time advocate for neurodivergent minds, particularly focusing on autism and supporting autistic individuals and their families.
My path hasn’t been typical, and I like it that way. After years of working in high-performance sports, life rerouted me toward something even more powerful: starting a non-profit called Share The Stoke Foundation. Since 2007, we have donated over a thousand surfboards in more than 25 countries and put on surf clinics, started surf schools, taught kids to surf, hosted surf contests, organized beach cleanups, mentored children highlighting our values, and mainly sharing the stoke of recreational therapy through surfing.
Today, I work with children, teens, and adults navigating learning differences, autism, twice-exceptionality (2e), and the ripple effects of trauma. I specialize in providing neurodivergent support to individuals—and their families—so they feel seen, understood, and equipped. Whether I’m in a Montessori classroom, sitting at a kitchen table with a parent, or running private educational assessments, my focus is always the same: connection over correction.
I’m currently completing my Bachelor's in Psychology and will swiftly go on to a Masters program in Gifted Education, with a focus on learning disabilities and assessment. I combine my academic training with real-world experience as a therapeutic parent, surf program founder, and educational aide. I believe in the power of radical empathy, strengths-based intervention, and meeting people exactly where they are—whether they’re just starting out, stuck in the middle, or seeking a new direction.
Outside of work, I’m an artist, nature-lover, and a believer in the transformational messiness of growth (shoutout to Dabrowski’s Theory of Positive Disintegration, which changed my life).
If you or someone you love is struggling to fit into systems that don’t seem to make space for them—I’m here to help.
